  1. Hello Shlok. Caraval has been on my reading list for several months now after I saw some good reviews on the Internet. I've been specifically interested in this book because of their beautiful chrome covers and this blog has definitely convinced me to finally start reading it. There's also two other books that follow this novel and a new one coming in October 2024!

  2. Hi Shlok! I've never heard of this book before, but the way you wrote about it (which you did beautifully) really made me want to read it. I myself am a big fan of fantasy books with complex and well thought out world-building, and this seems like the perfect fit. On another note, I think that the review itself was very well written and feels like a professional review. But anyways, I will be definitely adding Caraval to my extremely long TBR. Great job!

  7. Greetings Shlok. Before your blog post I had never heard about this book at all. Before even reading this post, me and my friend had a whole talk about how the title of the book sounds like the name of a soccer player (Carvajal) and some other very irrelevant topics that arose from the title. When you talked about how the main character and her sister goes through the Labyrinth, it reminded me a lot about Percy Jackson (I forgot which book) and how the farther they go the most dangerous it becomes for them (or something like that). Since I really enjoyed Percy Jackson, I have a feeling I might enjoy this book as well and will try to check it out when I am bored. Great blog (・▽・)
