Why I would NOT recommend Bloom By Kevin Panetta and Savanna Ganucheau

Image
*CONTAINS SPOILERS*      Firstly, this story is about the relationship between two completely different guys. One of them is Ari, who wants to move into the city in a problematic band with his friends, away from his parents' bakery. Then there is Hector, who is a lovable, respectful, and mature guy, with a love for baking. The two are seemingly complete opposites, but they still find a liking for each other, as Hector gets hired at the bakery that Ari is forced to work at.      One thing that I would like to mention is that the visual experience of the novel was pleasing to the eye. Even with the color scheme solely consisting of gradients of white, black, and blue, the amount of incredible detail that goes into every single box is amazing. Both of the authors have experience in comic art, and this is very evident.      Something that I like to see in a graphic novel is the development of both the characters and the story. While reading Bloom , I never found that spark of interes

Ranking the Legend Series by Shlok Choudhary

In my opinion, Prodigy is by far the best book in the Legend series. Prodigy is the second book in the series and the reason that I like it more than the others is because this is the book where a lot of the action happens. Yes, there is a lot of action in the first book as well, but I feel that this book was more interesting. One of the most important events that happen in this book is that the Elector Primo, basically the president, of the Republic dies, and his son takes his place. There are many more interesting moments in this book that would take too long to explain, but this is still definitely my favorite out of the three books. Although many of the major events happen in the first book, they do not have too much action with it. A couple of very important events in the first book is June's older brother, Metais, dies. Originally, everyone in the Republic thought that it was Day, even June, but later on, she realizes that it isn't him, but someone who nobody would have

Review of Fantastic Mr. Fox by Bj Allanah

Image
Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl and Illustrated by Quentin Blake After 12 years of Mr. Fox living on the countryside, he ends up breaking the promise with his wife. The promise was that he would forget his old life and stop stealing. But one day him and a few other common animals raid the farms of human neighbors, Boggis, Bruce, and Bean. Because of this quick turn of events he ends up putting the lives of his friends and family in danger as they were to be hunted by these three farmers. Throughout the story, his family is forced to constantly move throughout the underground tunnels that Mr. Foxs' family and other animals create to avoid being killed by these farmers. Mr. Fox has to use his natural instinct and imaginative mind to maneuver and rise above these farmers. This book has action, drama, and suspense. It is an exceptional book that I personally would recommend you read. 9/10

The Spy School Series by Stuart Gibbs Spy School is a mystery about a middle school kid named Ben Ripley who loves everything spy related. He is bullied in school for being a nerd and is incredibly good at math. One day when he comes home from school there is a very mysterious person at his house. He tells Ben that he has been recruited by the CIA to go to a school for young spies. When he gets to the school his whole life changes. He is involved in a government threatening event, has to lie to his friends and family about what he does everyday, and still has to go to school and learn. This book has action, mystery and suspense. It is very good and I would recommend that you read at some point.   7/10
